Baby Chick - Getting Extra Care

Just like last year - the mama hen that hatched out a baby chick last week is getting help raising it  from another hen. And the little one is out scratching around and having a good time. The hens seem to take turns teaching it to 'act like a chicken'.

The hen on the right is the mother, the one to the left is the grandma, and the rooster is daddy. This cute little baby is pretty lucky - raising him/her is truly a family affair.

On another subject:

You've probably seen those new Solar lights for keeping predators away . . . they have two lights, like eyes . . . just wondering if you've tried them out.
