Attn: Pet Chicken Enthusiasts! Free Book Contest And Blog Tour Starts Tomorrow

Tomorrow is Day One of the Storey Publishing sponsored Blog Book Tour celebrating the newest book by author Gail Damerow, The Chicken Encyclopedia. And, this is the first destination. You're welcome to visit here to enjoy the Q and A with Gail Damerow, (which will also feature my review of the book). It will be set to publish at 9:00 A.M., Pacific time. Then, you're invited to move on to my next post, scheduled to publish at 9:30 A.M. to read the questions and enter your answers in the comment section of that post.  Don't worry, the questions won't be that difficult! Good Luck!!
Remember, each of the 15 bloggers will have his/her own contest, so if you enter each one, that just multiplies your chances 15 times!

So, let's get to it. First, the answer to:

Who can participate in this Contest

This contest is limited to residents of the United States.

 How to enter the contest

The list of questions will be published in a separate post, scheduled to publish at 9:30 A.M. Pacific time, tomorrow, Friday, March 2nd. To enter, post your answers to the questions in the comment section below that post. Be sure to include your primary email address so that I can notify you if you're one of the winners. And, if you are one of the winners, I'll then need to request your mailing address to pass on to Storey Publishing in order for you to get the book they're giving away. I won't use this information for any other purpose except to follow through on this contest.

What is the prize?

There will be two winners for my contest, since I had already ordered this book before hearing about the blog tour, and the prize is, again,  a copy of The Chicken Encyclopedia, by Gail Damerow. The winners will be the first two entrants who provide the correct and most detailed answers to each of the questions, which relate to the history of chickens and chicken trivia. So, it pays to enter as early as possible! And, no, I'm not sure yet exactly how many questions will be asked, let's just say "a few" so I can promise, it won't take up too much of your time!

What is the time span of this contest?

The questions will be published at 9:30 A.M.(Pacific Time, Noon Eastern)  tomorrow in a separate blog post immediately following the Q&A post with Gail Damerow (with my review of the book summing it up). Entries are being accepted through the weekend, until midnight, Sunday, March 4th.

Sound Fair? Have questions, feedback?

Please, either comment on this post or email me at scott@fortheloveofchickens.com.

Next Step

Don't forget to visit http://vintagegardengal.com on March 3rd - remember each blogger is creating a contest of his/her own, meaning YOU have 15 opportunities to win. The previous post lists each blog publisher taking part in this book tour.

The winners of my contest can expect to be notified by midnight, Pacific Time on Monday, March 4th. Enjoy the tour, everyone!
If either of the winners fails to follow up by notifying me of their mailing address within  24 hours of receiving my email notifying them that they've won (that deadline would be midnight, March 5th), I'll need to move on to the next closest runner up.

Look forward to receiving your entry!
